ABOUT THIS HARDMAN PIANO:

The "Minipiano" originated in Sweden and was wildly popular all over the world as the only cute, child-friendly...and space-friendly piano. It was exclusively made in the U.S. by the Hardman Piano Co. of New York for over 20 years, producing over 30,000 of these interesting, kitschy and nice-sounding pianos -- yet they rarely ever emerge for sale! This is only the second one we've seen in the past 20 years.

COMPANY
HISTORY :
The Hardman (or Hardman Peck) piano company began on 57th St. in New York City in 1842 and produced over 150,000 pianos before the factory's closure in 1982. Not a bad run for a company that produced pretty good pianos without ever receiving any sort of notoriety outside of the east coast!  Today, the name lives on and Cordogan's carries the new Hardman line of pianos.
