THIS MASON & HAMLIN PIANO:
We have just acquired a 2007 7' Mason & Hamlin satin ebony grand piano (model BB) from a dealer who went out of business. We would like to call it "new" because it has never been owned, but that would imply there is a manufacturer's warranty, which there is not. It's hardly an issue though because we've been in business decades longer than the currrent Mason & Hamlin company, so our five year warranty (parts & labor) is as solid as any piano manufacturer's warranty...if not more!
Semantics aside, this piano is basically new. It was manufactured in 2007, shipped to the dealer in 2008, where it remained on the showroom floor. While two years may initially seem like a long time for a piano to not sell, it's actually fairly common with high-end pianos -- especially in smaller markets and during a recession. This piano is absolutely beautiful and perfect -- inside and out. It will rival any world class semi-concert grand on the market -- at a fraction of the cost (A new one list for $70,073!). We are happy to discuss price over the phone, including shipping costs anywhere in the U.S.
While we don't have a picture of this exact piano to post just yet, a quick Google Image Search will turn up countless "Mason & Hamlin BB" images -- and since they've basically looked the same for over a hundred years, there will be no surprises when you see it.
